LIVING AMONG ALLIGATORS blends science, culture, humor, inspiration and live alligators in a presentation that is both educational and entertaining, conducted by Israel Dupont, a naturalist and alligator expert who is also a veteran lecturer, instructor, writer and theatricalist.

Living Among Alligators promotes harmony - not combat or conflict - with alligators and with all of nature. A proactive, sustainable approach to the challenges of sharing our environment with other living things is the purpose of our programming. Among many of the public, the perception of alligators and other animals may elicit fear or sensational hype. It is well known that people fear what they don't understand; thus, it is believed that an enlightened mind is an empowered one.

Living Among Alligators provides quality education for students and the general public alike, from pre-k, to post-grads, for campers or golfers, homeowners or outdoor sportsmen, or even officials of local government. The close-up, hands-on interactive nature of the presentation offers optimal stimulation of the mind. The program is not heavy on stagecraft; it emphasizes intimacy and interaction with the animals and the presenter.

Living Among Alligators as entertainment is great fun! The programs can be custom-designed for parties, corporate events, and even tourist attractions and resorts. The alligators used in the program are smaller specimens like hatchlings, yearlings, juveniles and sub-adults, and are properly restrained (including their jaws) according to the very highest crocodilian safety standards in the industry. (Larger specimens may be available upon special request.

They enjoy the highest of husbandry standards, are behaviorally conditioned for handling, and are rotated among others - all to insure minimal stress. The keeping of these animals is licensed and regulated by the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission.
