JUNE 12

SUMMER BAR B Q BENEFIT

FOR CROCODILIAN CONSERVATION

Bushnell, Florida

A Summer Bar B Q Benefit for Crocodilian Conservation will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 from 6:00 to 10:00 PM (and perhaps a bit later...) at David Day's Crocodile Creek Bio-Center near Bushnell, Florida.

Funds raised during the event will be sent to the Crocodilian Advisory Group on order to support Joe Abene's field work in China related to the AZA's Chinese Alligator Species Survival Plan

The event will include Bar B Q dinner, beverages, good company and special guests.  It will also include a tour of the Crocodile Creek facility which is a developing alligator farm and crocodile breeding facility.

The event is open to all for a $25 per person donation; kids are welcome for a requested $5 donation.

Dinner and two beverages are included, but if you think you will be wanting more than two beverages, please plan to BYOB.

Organizers also request that attendees bring a reptile related item for the silent auction we plan to hold that evening. guests are also encouraged to bring folding chairs and coolers of ice, as such would be greatly appreciated by the organizers and would further offset costs.

The event is being sponsored by Curt Harbsmeier and Bruce Shwedick, with additional support being provided by Flavio Morrissiey.

Please contact Shwedick if you would like additional information, are interested in assisting organizers, etc., and send him an RSVP by Thursday, June 10th, if you are planning to attend, as it will be helpful for planning food, etc. Shwedick's email address is bshwedick@aol.com.
